Comprehensive Eye Exams

Annual Eye Exams are an important part of your health regimen. A comprehensive eye health exam will determine your overall eye health, look for any signs of ocular diseases on top of providing you with an updated prescription for eyewear. An eye health exam can even look for signs of other health issues such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

At Red House Vision Center, we provide comprehensive eye exams to patients of all ages. Each exam is tailored to the patient depending on the patient's age, health, ability, and needs.

In Ontario, annual Comprehensive Eye Examinations are covered under OHIP for the following patients:

  • Children aged 0 to 19 years old

  • Seniors aged 65 years and older

  • People with diabetes who are receiving treatment, and other medical conditions such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration and some types of infection/inflammation.

For Adults 20-64 not covered under OHIP, we provide direct billing to most insurance companies.
